Overview:
The table above shows the new level included with the DREAM II series, which is the main difference compared to the old DREAM series. The old DREAM series had 4 levels and 48 robot examples. The new DREAM II series now has 5 levels and 60 robot examples. All plates, rivets, motors, parts, etc. can be used interchangeably between the old DREAM sets and the new DREAM II sets.
The DREAM II series has the added level, the added workbook, and the BOM of some of the kits have changed. The DREAM II School set is also available, which includes a "jump kit," DREAM II Level 2, and DREAM II Level 3.

ROBOTIS DREAM II School Set consists of DREAM II Jump Kit, Level 2 & 3 Part Kits with a PDF Assembly Manual for 20+ Robot Configurations. The assembly manual of 20+ project lessons cna be viewed using the FREE R+Design Application which can be downloaded on iOS & Google PLAY Stores. The R_Design App is compatible with Windows, Mac OS, Android and iOS.
DREAM II School Set Workbook including Level 2 & 3 examples can be purchased separately: Curriculum consists of 24 Lesson Plans which are mapped to National and State Standards (NGSS). With the DREAM II School Set Curriculum, students learn about the basic components of robotics, scientific principles of robotic movement and technical & Mechanical principles of robotics education. Lesson Plans within the Basic Components of Robotics including subjects focusing on the use of Infrared (IR) Sensors, Mics & Batteries. Lessons focus on specific scientific principles such as the Principles of Velocity, Elastic Force, Inertia, and Acceleration, Mechanical Engineering Principles such as Four-Wheeled Drive & Engine Systems.
